"Julia can pass the knowledge on in an easy to follow manner. She can evaluate exactly where you and your horsemanship are, and where your horse is and task you with progressive work, in a clear no frills fashion. She is positive, progressive, empathetic (to both horse & handler) as well as being realistic and honest. She is great at isolating the 'problem' and setting you up to 'fix' it 'properly'. We see a large amount of equine 'professionals' through our gate each year and hold many clinics and workshops, so we get to see a lot of different approaches, Julia is among the best Horsemanship Instructors I have come across, and I am really excited about seeing her own journey as an Instructor continue and of course learning more from her for many years to come :0)) 5* recommendation from me!"

"Julia is a fantastic teacher. Within minutes of starting a lesson she has assessed where you and your horse are at and what you need to work on without you even noticing, and she's always spot on! She picks up on things that you'd never even thought of or considered and instantly has a plan to help you through it, not just for that lesson, but how you can continue to progress after your lesson often setting you goals to achieve or work on before your next lesson. Her feel and timing are incredible, her style of teaching is clear and she is always encouraging you to get your 'good better and your better best' whilst offering her full support.  If only we could all have a mini Julia to carry around with us and help us in our sessions with our horses everyday! For me, watching her work with horses herself is fascinating and shows me what I am working towards, it gives me hope that it is possible to get there! i'm almost certain if you look up 'Horsewoman' in the dictionary the description will read 'Julia Opawska', I just can't sing her praises enough!'"

"Ash and I have had several lessons with Julia now and each time we have ended in a better place than we started and gone away with useful advice for our ongoing development. I love it that Julia is so good at knowing where to target our efforts and that she can always explain why she is suggesting a particular task and how it will help us. Our last session was shared with a horse and human partnership who are the complete opposite of Ash and me and although we were working towards the same goals it was fascinating to see how Julia introduced different strategies to progress the two partnerships along different routes towards the same end".
