This workshop is perfect for you if you want to start Parelli or are a Level 1 student. During the workshop you will learn how to be safe around your horse and how to be a confident leader on the ground, which will later translate into ridding. Level 1 is about developing a common language with your horse that will help you built a stronger relationship and address challenging behaviours you might encounter.

The workshop consists of theory, simulations and practical sessions with horses. During the theoretical part, we will talk about horse psychology and body language. This is essential for understanding our equine partners. Later, you will be introduced to Parelli equipment and you will get a chance to practise tool handling and your body language during the simulations. Finally, during practical sessions you will play with horses and cover some basic ground skills and some of the Seven Games. For this workshop you can rent a schoolmaster who will help you get a grip of the basic skills.

We all fell a bit stuck at times. This workshop will be aimed at helping you assess where you’re at, followed by providing you with a plan how to progress in the next few weeks.

We’ll cover some strategies for keeping you on track and not getting stuck when you are on your own. We’ll talk about how you can have more fun and really play the games with your horse and how to plan your sessions.

At the end of summertime, a similar follow-up workshop will take place where you will be able to receive feedback on your progress and address any pitfalls you might have encountered.

The Parelli Patterns are a great way to help your horse progress mentally, emotionally and physically. It will teach him to act like a partner and keep his responsibilities, such as maintaining gate and direction.

Horses are pattern animals which means they love following patterns and the patterns introduced on the ground will easily translate to ridding.

We will look into implementing OnLine Patterns into ridding, taking Patterns which your horse already knows into a new level and finding the balance between consistency and variety.
